Archivist Denevar Holt
NPC Campaign 4Archivist of the Low Lantern Archive who vanished on the day of the flood and was later found twisted by corruption beneath the city.
Denevar Holt was the archivist of The Low Lantern Archive in Sandwater Slough: a dusty, coughing human in his late fifties, fussy about terminology and storage conditions. He did not come to work on the day of the flood (18 Suns Dusk 1047 PC). Rainclaw's rat Crumb Seeker later found his green wool hat, soaked in the flood's vintage oil and bloodstained, in the sewers; the blood matched a stain on a valve behind the Archive's broken wall. In the depths of Rillachor the party found him twisted by The Corruption in a room walled with black ichor, attended by two serpent-like creatures, and killed him; the corruption receded.
Also known as Denevar Holt, The Archivist.
