Grobnak

NPC Campaign 1 · The Skyfire ChroniclesCampaign 2 · After SkyfireCampaign 3 · The Twilight AnarchyCampaign 4 · The Godscar

Orc stick collector and franchise mogul, secretly the author 'Stephen Amber'; appears in all four campaigns.

Grobnak is a half-witted orc who collects sticks, and one of the longest-running characters in Eavaros.

  • Campaign 1: the Fatemakers met him in an orc camp in June 2019 (real time). He ran the Museum of Stick, later opened a pebble shop, kept a list of homebrew sticks, and dreamed of "endless franchises"; "the endless Franchises of Grobnak" became one of the campaign's arcs. In March 2021 the party met "the water-world counterpart of Grobnak" in Luktow, in connection with Braggum's "Moist Miracles" water business. After The Skyfire he found a southern continent and signed two franchisees to go and look for profitable sticks there.
  • Campaign 2: the franchise reached the Feywild, where the fey spirit Gosar ran "Gosar got good grass, a Grobnak company". Books by "Stephen Amber" turned up in Luggard Dror's library.
  • Campaign 3: the party shopped at Grobnak's Stick Emporium, which sold 25 sticks. The library at Shade Hollow had Stephen Amber II: Electric Canoe.
  • Campaign 4: the party learned that Stephen Amber is an alias of Grobnak, and that Stephen's Record of Infernal Spells is his work. Grobnak knew the ending of campaign 2 in campaign 1. He appeared in person in September 2026.
