The Ridgeway
Place Campaign 1Campaign 3A Mountain range that spans the continent.
The Ridgeway is a mountain range that spans the northern continent and forms the Xinsi Empire's border. The dwarves of its cities guard that border vigorously in both directions. Kheledzund is among those cities, and the drow city of Dubarozan lies deep beneath the range. In The Skyfire the dwarven cities held, though their outer gateways were damaged; Kheledzund fared worst. Dwarven smithing here is the benchmark: Gila Deepsworn's work is said to be "some of the best outside of the Ridgeway". The Golden Forge and Blackrib Bastion (campaign 3) are also in or under the Ridgeway, and Squirt was born there. In campaign 3 the party heard that "the Verdant Vale is nothing but a whisper on the wind, a lie painted over the foothills of the Ridgeway".
