They flatter his ego, suggesting that blotting out the sun and seizing control aligns with a destiny only he could fulfil, exploiting his self-cenerdness and lack of empathy to bend him to their cosmic agenda.

The Nocturnal Loom leverages a forged prophecy from the underdark Drow, presented to Cedric as an ancient opportunity only he could seize. This prophecy, crafted to exploit Cedric's narcissism and belief in his own tactical genius, suggests a grand destiny that aligns with his ambitions and psychosis. By convincing him he's fulfilling a prophesied role, they manipulate him into pursuing the Source Spheres under the guise of achieving unparalleled power and control, all while advancing their goal to destroy the Divine Gate and unleash chaos.
