The Shadowfell

The Shadowfell is a gloomy echo of the material world, bound up with death and darkness.
Campaign 1. In January 2021 (real date) the Fatemakers were in a temple to a dead, long-unworshipped god in the Shadowfell, having just killed an agent of The Aspect, and wanted to escape "Auntie's clutches" (Auntie Suzie) (C1 · Monday 4 January 2021 · The Shadowfell temple). Braggum mused about annexing Shadowfell real estate to the Bragglands. After The Skyfire, NX467 finished rebuilding the shadow temple there before returning to Mechanus.
Campaign 3. Evelina Crane's dreams told The Nocturnal Loom that one of the Sources might lie in the Shadowfell. In January 2025 (real date) a jaunt to the plane of death showed the party that the cycle of life and death was broken: all the dead were ending up in pods in the Shadowfell, siphoned there through The Taps (C3 · Wednesday 22 January 2025 · The bound god).
Reaching it. By a spiraling black colour pool in The Astral Sea or a silver or dusky gray curtain in the Deep Ethereal.
