The Elemental Plane of Water
Place Campaign 1Campaign 3The endless ocean plane, source of Braggum's eau de vie scheme in campaign 1 and the site of a Source hunt in 1040s play.
The Elemental Plane of Water is a shoreless sea without a floor or a sky.
Campaign 1. In early 2021 (real date) Braggum planned a liquor business distilling "pure eau de vie from the elemental plane of water". It needed a powerful caster such as Folanir to fetch the water, a contract with The Grand Muffty, and "the Plunge", a plane-shift site near Summers End.
Campaign 3. Evelina Crane's dreams pointed The Nocturnal Loom towards a Source on the plane. In July 2024 (real date), after a stay in Xinstock and tea with Owund, the party teleported to a ruined temple on the Plane of Water and saw a pirate battle under way nearby (C3 · Wednesday 31 July 2024 · Xinstock and the Plane of Water). Later a leviathan tried to swallow their ship whole, but Binkette's magic made it fumble (C3 · Wednesday 14 August 2024 · The Leviathan). The Elemental Plane of Water was next; by then the party had trapped Lord Cedric in an iron flask, used The Dimensional Cube, and held three Sources (C3 · Wednesday 21 August 2024 · Cedric bottled).
Reaching it. By a dark blue colour pool in The Astral Sea, a flickering blue or green curtain in the Deep Ethereal or a plane shift fork of lead tuned to A.
Also known as Elemental Plane of Water, Plane of Water.
