Sim

Sim posed as a gnome from Bosia who had advised the Xinsi Emperor for years and held the Operations seat on The Council Of The Xinsi Empire. Seven of The Psycore suspected him of sowing discontent in the empire, and he ran torture chambers beneath The Sapphire Sepulchre.

When the Fatemakers walked a "prisoner" Braggum into The Deathtower in stolen tabards, Sim was waiting: the necklace Bragg had been given in the lizardfolk village was a tracker. He revealed himself as Simeria, a dragon in a blue robe with an acid breath, and fled to his roost about two days' ride away. He held Wraith captive there, and Wraith overheard that Sim had been in league with Delin for years and may have known the Nethershaper intimately (see The Aspect).

Orcs worshipped him as "Scalecrusher's god". The Fatemakers killed him (AC 22) at the end of 2019 real time and took a hoard that left them "wealthy on the level of a small duchy". His skull hangs over Luktow, and his black scales became Bralmur's Obsidian Flint Dragon Plate. One orc, Rexy, survived fighting him in his cave. Bragg's player later titled this stretch of the story The Bragglands.

His colour is uncertain: blue robe and acid in play, but called a "black dragon man" and remembered for black scales (see _conflicts.md).

The party's notes add that Sim, "blue robe guy", headed the empire's special forces; that Seven disliked him; that before revealing himself he gave the party a magical bag inscribed with the word "Thanks"; that he claimed to have "important things to do" rather than fight them; and that things changed in the empire after the gnome arrived. They wondered whether he was an Agent of Chaos.
